Wheatstone Village Expansion
The 2015-2016 Wheatstone Village Expansion project was delivered by ATCO on behalf of Bechtel (WA) / Chevron Australia, for the delivery of 2,000 person turnkey accommodation camp.
The accommodation units feature high specification fixtures and finishes, including a more spacious living and bathroom area, glass enclosed shower and electoral / communication works suited to the regional West Australia environment.
ATCO completed this project, following the successful turnkey installation of 357 modular buildings, including blast resistant units, at the front end of the Wheatstone Project.
Project Features
- (500) 14.4 x 4.1m four person accommodation buildings
- Turnkey delivery; design, manufacture, transport, and install of all units including 39 x 28.8m crib prep and dining hall, 27 x 24m change house, cleaner stores, laundries and communication huts.
- ATCO met all handover dates and was awarded Subcontractor of the Month by Bechtel, three months in a row
