The Rio Tinto owned West Angelas Deposit C&D mine is located in the eastern Pilbara region of Western Australia approximately 1010km north-northeast of Perth, WA.

ATCO Structures delivered a full turnkey workforce housing camp including the design, manufacture, transport, and installation of 105 x 14.4 m x 4.2 m four-person accommodation units (600-person), administration and service facilities, car parking, and recreational areas (lawn bowls, cricket net, basketball court, outdoor social areas, and beer garden). A power generation, water and wastewater treatment plant, were also included in the delivery.

The camp was delivered in two stages, with ATCO Structures optimising the electrical fit-out and onsite components to facilitate rapid deployment and successfully meet time-sensitive installation milestones.

Demobilisation and removal of all buildings and camp facilities will be completed by ATCO structures at the end of the lease period.
