NSW Technical and Further Education Department Modular School
In February 2017, we were engaged by RPS Group and CC Pines construction company to design and construct a 500 square metre double-storey permanent modular facility at the inner-city campus in Annandale.
It doesn't matter if you only need a short professional training class or complete diploma program in a new area, learning is essential to your career and personal development. To address Australia's demand for vocational education and training, NSW Technical and Further Education Department (TAFE NSW) embarked on a modernization program that includes revitalizing campuses to create state-of-the-art learning facilities.
In February 2017, we were engaged by RPS Group and CC Pines construction company to design and construct a 500 square metre double-storey permanent modular facility at the inner-city campus in Annandale. Tight access to the location required communication with traffic control to enable the low loader extendable semi-trailers to get into site.
The building has the professional look and performance of a traditional in situ constructed building. Inside, you’ll find multi-purpose training rooms, conference rooms, offices and various amenities like accessibility lift from the ground floor to the first floor. An open space on the top floor with interlocking walls can divide the space into six separate classrooms.

Our client realised the benefits of choosing modular construction for this project. The modules were built in our Crestmead factory in just seven weeks and delivered to site in April on extendable semi-trailers. There it took only another seven weeks for the installation, on time and on budget, and with minimal disruption to the functioning campus.
