Modular Buildings

Building the schools of the future

  • Dromana Secondary College

ATCO Structures utilised modern methods of construction to provide a 660m2 extension to an existing classroom block at Dromana Secondary College, facilitating a modern learning and interaction hub for students in years 10 and 11.

The extension housed six open-planned classrooms connected via a central interaction hub with locker facilities, an open-planned kitchenette, and a breakout space for students and staff.

Interaction, communication, and technology were key factors in the design phase of the project resulting in a state-of-the-art learning space facilitating Zoom calls between the students here and their sister school in China while providing a comfortable space to interact with teachers and peers.

ATCO Structures provided architectural design, permits, civil and fire certification, full turnkey installation, external construction, and all service reticulations and connections.
